Who we are
GVI stands for Genuine Vehicle Imports. We have been helping Kiwis into quality cars for over 30 years, and for more than ten of those years electric vehicles have been a core part of what we do. Over that time we have imported, prepared and delivered a great many cars, and learned what keeps them running well.
The GVI Service Centre grew out of the need to look after those cars properly. Today it is a full workshop on Great South Road in Penrose, open to everyone: customers who bought from us, and customers who did not. We do WOFs, servicing and repairs on every make, with a particular depth of experience on electric and hybrid vehicles.

MTA Assured. We are members of the Motor Trade Association, and "Assured" means our workmanship is backed by the MTA, with an independent body to go to if you are ever unhappy.
AA Approved Repairer. We have been independently assessed against the AA's standards for workmanship, fair pricing and how customers are treated.

Electric vehicle experience
We have worked on electric vehicles for over ten years, from the earliest imported Nissan Leafs to current Teslas. Where to find us
GVI Super Site, 575 Great South Road, Penrose, Auckland 1061. We are two minutes off the Southern Motorway and a two-minute walk from Penrose train station, with free parking in our off-street car park. Enter the showroom and follow the signs to service reception. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm, and Saturday by appointment. See contact and directions.
